Studio Tops is the creative workshop established by artist Simone Tops in 2017 and based in Naarm.

For Simone Tops, materials operate as collaborators rather than substrates. Her objects emerge through sustained material experimentation, grounded in an intimate technical knowledge of glass, steel and leather. Across her practice, matter is understood as fluid and responsive. Surfaces transition, forms evolve, and materials shift between states, producing works that sit within a continuous process of transformation rather than a fixed end point.
